Basingstoke town centre is located just off junctions 6 and 7 of the M3 and also accessible via the A339 from Newbury and Oxford and A33 from Reading. If you are travelling by train, you can catch direct trains from London Waterloo, Winchester, Reading, Oxford, Southampton and Portsmouth. The train and bus stations are within walking distance Basingstoke town centre ready to enjoy the festival.
By bike
If you’re local, travelling on foot or by bike is a great way to travel sustainably to Basingstoke town centre. The town centre is well equipped with safe, secure and well-lit cycle parking in the form of Sheffield Stands, Secure Cycle Storage (Cages) and (red) Streetpods. By car
There are several car parks in Basingstoke town centre. If you are enjoying performances at The Top of the Town the closest car parks include Joices Yard, Central Car Park and Castons Yard. You will find disabled parking bays in all of these. If you have an electric vehicle then Feathers Yard is dedicated to electric vehicle parking only. If you are heading to the Festival Hub or the Amphitheatre by Festival Place then there is ample parking in the Festival Place carpark, including electric charging units and a car wash service.

The village of Overton is located to the west of Basingstoke, it has it’s own train station serviced by South Western Railway.

Depart the train at Overton Station (RG25 3JG). The library is on the main high street which is approximately a 18 minute walk from the train station.
Stagecoach operate a bus service from Basingstoke to Overton (Service 76) which stops at Overton Library.

WHITCHURCH – Whitchurch Silk Mill, RG28 7AL
By train
Whitchurch is on the South-Western Railway London Waterloo to Exeter line. Performances at Whitchurch Silk Mill are around a 15 minute from Whitchurch train station.
On foot
Whitchurch Silk Mill is signposted from the roundabout in the centre of Whitchurch and can be found on the right, just before the road bridge over the River Test, and opposite Tesco Express.
By bike
Whitchurch is easily accessible by bicycle from Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke and Newbury. There are four bicycle parking racks available for use within the Whitchurch Silk Mill forecourt.
By car
There are three main car parks in Whitchurch, at Winchester Road, Church Street and Bell Street. These are all free but have varying time restrictions so make sure you look to find the best car park for you! You’ll also find parking at Whitchurch Silk Mill which includes two parking spaces reserved for disabled visitors within the Mill forecourt.
