Streets Alive

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council are inviting Expressions of Interest from local visual artists to deliver outdoor artworks on existing street furniture or walls across the borough wards, as part of the wider development of the successful Streets Alive project in Basingstoke’s town centre. This new phase of the project will be funded by BDBC as part of the Queen’s Jubilee borough-wide celebrations.

  • Successful artists will work with the ward councillors (and local community associations and action groups) on identifying a suitable location or item of street furniture and appropriate local theme for the artwork.
  • Artists may be considered for more than one artwork in more than one ward.
  • Artists who have already been involved in the Streets Alive project are also welcome to apply.
  • Artists must have a link to North Hampshire and ideally, Basingstoke and Deane

The new phase of Streets Alive is supported by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council
